Each day, our liver makes a quart of liquid that’s very important. Bile breaks down fats but it also carries out toxins, hormones, heavy metals and helps thyroid function.
As you know, bile is stored in the gallbladder. If you don’t have one, it’s important you provide support for gallbladder (promote more bile flow) pH and digestion. If you have yours there are natural things you can do to get rid of, and help prevent, small stones and sludge.
Many of the current diets are 70% fat. No one is thinking whether people have the ability to digest these fats. We need bile for this and to absorb the fat soluble vitamins: A, D, E, and K.
Detoxing hormones: The liver has pathways for detox, but bile is another help. It’s the dump for hormones like estrogen, heavy metals that create anxiety (like mercury, lead and aluminum) and chemicals. So keep the gallbladder decongested!
We must detox estrogens into their safer metabolites and keep bile thin so it doesn’t clog up with extra estrogen that’s not breaking down. We can show you how to handle both.
Thyroid function: A study showed an increase over 50%, in metabolism, when bile flow was improved. 60% of T4 is converted to T3 in the liver (the active form that burns fat). Bile has a lot to do with this. In fact, people who get their gallbladder removed often notice their thyroid function go down after a few months. Bile triggers the conversion from T4 to T3. We can show you a great way to helps to promote bile flow, detoxify the liver, and help it repair and regenerate new, healthy cells.
So now you know, bile is for more than digesting fat!
