Our recent “sheltering” across the country has had some side effects we weren’t focused on. The Center for Disease Control shows poisonings are up 20% in the first three months of this year.
This is based on calls to poison control centers-reports of coughing, wheezing, dizziness…….The thought is, this is happening due to the chemicals in cleaning products used in the home.
Indeed, we are all spending more time at home these days so getting exposed to what we’re using. A reminder, with the focus on Earth Day last week, to keep our homes, and the planet, safe and as toxin free as possible. (many of these chemicals cause health issues that won’t be seen for a while-cancer, lung damage, hormone imbalances…..)
